The platform-mounted auger sampling system can be as simple as crane, auger, and crushing sampling modules. A separate crane platform or a truck-mounted crane can be matched with sampling modules at a minimal expense.

How it works:
The crane operator selects the designated supplier's sample container for the final sample using a mini-control panel in the crane cab. An optional card reader system is also available for automatic selection of the designated supplier sample container. After selecting the position to auger the primary sample, a full or partial sample auger is available.

The sample is crushed and re-sampled, and the final sample is deposited in the specific sample container for that particular supplier. Sample rejects can be handled in a variety of ways. The complete sampling process varies and depends on the material being sampled and the type size of the auger.
